Adam Lambert took in a screening of “The Great Gatsby” in Hollywood last night.

Adam Lambert exited the ArcLight Hollywood Cinema with a friend and seemed uncharacteristically camera-shy as he walked back to his car.

Over the weekend, Adam showed up at the GLAAD Media Awards’ San Francisco ceremony where he received the prestigious Davidson/Valentini Award.

Lambert also shared the Outstanding Musical Artist trophy with fellow gay singer Frank Ocean, making for quite the successful evening.

Adam told the crowd, "We are right in the middle of two generations with two different perspectives but one common thread – love. With all the differences of opinion both within the LGBT community and elsewhere, the best we can do is to keep it real and to spread a message of acceptance."
