Captured by a woman who tells anyone who would listen to her that she possesses no great skill as a photographer, this amazing shark photo is now viral on the internet. The gorgeous shot was taken by Amanda Brewer, an art teacher in New Jersey, who was in South Africa volunteering with the eco-tourism and research group White Shark Africa.

She was inside a a shark-diving cage along with other tourists "helping to collect scientific data, jotting down everything she could about individual sharks, including unique markings (for ID purposes) and behavior."

When this shot was taken, Brewer said that it was never intentional and that she just happened to be "in the right place at the right time."

The result is this vivid image which shows the fearsome predator in all its glory - mouth wide open and lunging for what appears to be two fish heads used as baits.

Brewer said that she was shocked by all the media attention about her photo and said that she never even owned a camera prior to purchasing a GoPro just days before the trip.
