Game of Thrones fans might be in for a real treat in the upcoming season because there's a possibility that a famous young Lord would appear. By now, fans know that the entire GOT world and its history has been largely influenced by a tragic love story that managed to wipe out an entire clan.

Prince Rhaegar Targaryen was the son of the Mad King who ruled before and the young prince became madly in love with Lyanna Stark, the sister of Ned Stark and fiancee of Robert Baratheon. Rhaegar wanted her so much that he kidnapped her, sparking the war that would wipe out almost his entire bloodline - including himself.

Last season we already saw Lynna dying and giving her son Jon Snow to her brother Ned but the show neither confirmed or denied that Rhaegar is the father (although most fans would bet their money on this theory). Now that GOT only has two more seasons left, it seems to be tying up loose ends here and there and there is a possibility that Rhaegar's story could be shown.

This is further supported when the site "Watchers on the Wall" posted a list of descriptions for the upcoming show's casting call. One description has fans going gaga already. The casting call specifically indicates that they want a:

"Young Lord in his late 20’s. He’s a tall, handsome young lord, and the show is looking for a white actor who uses the RP accent. He’s scheduled to shoot in the week commencing September 20th."

Rhaegar was considered to be "beautiful" by many people and he was probably no older than 30. RP accent or “Received Pronunciation” (also called Queen's English) is the accent used in King's Landing which means that the character might be from noble blood.

We have a year left to wait, but the guessing game has already started!
