Heading to the streets after attending the uber-fancy 2013 Met Gala, Chris Brown hit up Harlem's public basketball courts on Wednesday.

Chris Brown tweeted, "Went back to my hood today! #136th amsterdam ()harlem," along with a photo of himself surrounded by fans.

Not content to just sit back and bask in the glow of all the attention, he also showed off his skills on the court, as a fan recorded a video of the hip-hop star shooting hoops.

Switching gears to recall the star-studded gala, Chris later posted, "Big thanks to Ricardo Tisci and the amazing team at @Givenchy for a great night. Suit- @Givenchy . Shoes- @DonaldJPliner ."
