Confirmed: Christian Bale Won’t Be In Justice League Movie

It seems fans would have to get used to seeing (or even hearing) a different Batman in the few incarnations to come.

A week ago, it is reported that Kevin Conroy will not be reprising his role as the Caped Crusader in the new game Batman: Arkham Origins. Now, another Batman had given up the cape and cowl, as Christian Bale confirmed that he has no plans to return as the Dark Knight for any possible plans of a Justice League movie.

"It’s a torch that should be handed from one actor to another," he said. "So I enjoy looking forward to what somebody else will come up with.” said Bale, during a promotion of his new movie “Out of the Furnace.”

"We were incredibly fortunate to get to make three [Batman films]. That's enough. Let's not get greedy," he added. The English actor donned the Batsuit in the three most successful Batman movies under the direction of Christopher Nolan.

Earlier on, Bale expressed that he will not return as Batman unless Nolan will reprise his role as the director, while 'Man of Steel' and 'Dark Knight' screenwriter David S. Goyer said that the Justice League’s Batman will be a reboot and not the one established in prior trilogy. So that will pretty much give us a clue.
