While we often hear huge-priced estates and other upper-class houses being sold in mind-boggling prices, we're still pretty shocked whenever someone actually buys them. Here's a classic example, Connecticut's Copper Beech Farm. It's a 50-acre Greenwich estate out on the market with a record-setting price of $190M but has been bought yesterday for only 61% of its initial ask. It has 12 bedrooms (yes, 12!) and vast amounts of space left to build a couple of smaller houses.
