When she was 14, Stephanie Fernandez picked up her brush and did something magical with her look. Armed with just drugstore paint and whatever she has on hand, she transforms her face into one creative masterpiece.

“Sometimes it takes me seconds to think of an idea, sometimes it takes me months,” said Fernandez, 18, of Shreveport, La.

“I use whatever materials I have around me at that moment to portray a visualization of an emotion, thought, or dream that is occurring in my mind.”
