He loves to build hype and create buzz, and Justin Bieber got his fans excited about a possible high-profile project via Twitter and Instagram last night (May 1).

The “One Less Lonely Girl” singer hopped on his social media accounts to give props to “Right There” songstress Ariana Grande and ended up starting a rumor.

Along with a photo of them both in the studio, Bieber wrote, “congrats @arianagrande on your number 1 song. #arianabieberduet ??” in reference to her new single “Problem.”

On the other side of the coin, both Rihanna and Luke Bryan openly dissed Grande’s performance at the iHeartRadio Music Awards last night.
