Kare Kano or Kareshi Kanojo no Jijō? ("His and Her Circumstances" in English)is a manga made by Masami Tsuda and an anime produced by Gainax. It was a big hit at the time of its debut and many people were immediately in love with this hilarious romantic comedy film.

The story is about Yukino Miyazawa, a Japanese high school freshmen who seems perfect in almost every way. She's good at academics and sports. Can get along well with everyone and has a very good temper. She's the envy of everyone and the object of their admiration. Except everything's not true.

At home, she's the spoiled and stubborn eldest daughter that has a serious problem attention problem. She wants everyone to please her and will do everything to do it. That all crumbles when she meets Soichiro Arima. He is the epitome of Mr.Perfect except he isn't faking it.

This makes Yukino angrier and more determined to crush him. However, when he confesses his feelings to her, this all changes!
