Singer Katy Perry is the daughter of Keith and Mary Hudson, who are both pastors. She had a strict religious upbringing which is why some people might say that her chosen career is quite surprising.

It's relatively well-known that her father cites her in his sermons. He tells churchgoers to "Pray for Katy". Now it seems that his latest sermon is about calling his daughter a "devil child".

He states that his daughter's performances are especially emotional for him. Katy's dad doesn't believe that his daughter is setting a very good example by singing songs like "I Kissed A Girl".
