It seems the internet wants to recast everything today.

A few days after “50 Shades Of Grey” author E.L. James announced on Twitter that the highly coveted roles of young business magnate Christian Grey and college graduate Anastasia Steele has been landed by Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson, respectively, an online petition has been pushing to recast the actors.

The Change.org petition calls for” White Collar” Matt Bomer and “Gilmore Girls” actress Alexis Bledel to be in the major roles. As the time of this writing, the call has already garnered 72,419 signatures. The petition states that “Matt Bomer is the perfect description of Christian Grey and Alexis Bledel is the perfect actress to represent Anastasia Steele..”

Just off from his blockbuster "Pacific Rim," Hunnam beat Alexander Skarsgard, Matt Bomer, Armie Hammer, Alex Pettyfer, Henry Cavill, Robert Pattinson, and Ian Somerhalder for the role. While Hollywood royalty Dakota Johnson, daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, won out over Alicia Vikander, Shailene Woodley, Analeigh Tipton, and even Emma Watson.

It can be recalled that an online petition has also started pushing a week ago to remove Ben Afflect from the role of Batman for the Superman vs. Batman movie.
