"Our Leader the Mockingjay" – Official Teaser Trailer

Mockingjay, please stop being such a tease!

After plenty of teasers (designed as Panem propagandas) were released to drive Hunger Games fans mad, the time has finally come to see the official trailer and get a feel of how the movie would look like - so far, it does not disappoint.

The official teaser trailer of the first installment of the "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" has been released during the Comic-Con much to the delight of fans around the world.

The deceased Philip Seymour Hoffman leads the trailer and introduced us to new characters such as Alma Coin, District 13's rebel leader (played by Julianne Moore) and a glimpse of Cressida, head of the film crew (Natalie Dormer). We also see Katniss' face for the first time when a young rebel asked her “Are you fighting Katniss? Are you here to fight with us?” To which she replied,“I am. I will.”


Concerns about the sudden death of Hoffman are still present but Francis, Lawrence, the movie director, assured us nothing would be changed dramatically.

"There were a couple of scenes that were pretty substantial which we ended up giving to other actors to take over, and obviously, although no one is a replacement for Phil, the story still works," He told Reuters in May.
