Copycat Olive Garden Salad Dressing

1 packet Good Seasonings Italian Dressing Mix
¾ c. vegetable or canola oil
¼ c. + 2 T. white vinegar
¼ c. water
½ t. sugar
½ t. dried Italian seasoning
½ t. salt
¼ t. pepper
¼ t. garlic powder
½ T. mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip)
