The sequel for the most successful anime live action adaptation won’t be released until summer next year, but the hype is already starting to build up for “Rurouni Kenshin”.

Recently, three more press photos has been revealed, showing four characters from the phenomenal anime as they come to life for the movie adaptation.

The four, from left to right, are:

• Juppongatana assassin Seta Sōjirō played by Ryunosuke Kamiki (“Summer Wars”, “Kazoku Game”)

• Oniwabanshū kunoichi Misao Makimachi played by Tao Tsuchiya (“Tokyo Sonata”, “Ultraman Zero”)

• Oniwabanshū leader Aoshi Shinomori played by Yusuke Iseya ("13 Assassins", "Ashita no Joe's Rikishi")

• Oniwabanshū elder member Nenji "Okina" Kashiwazaki played by Min Tanaka (“47 Ronin”, “Twilight Samurai”)

Takeru Satoh and Emi Takei will reprising their roles as Kenshin Himura and Kaoru Kamiya, respectively, along with the previous movie’s cast.

The sequel is set to be titled “Rurouni Kenshin: The Kyoto Fire”. It will be released on summer of 2014 and will be distributed by Warner Bros.
