The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Trailer Released

With the onslaught of superhero feeds from Batman vs. Superman (plus Wonder Woman!), the oncoming Captain America: Winter Soldier, and X-Men’s Days Of The Future Past, Marvel Comic’s flagship character won’t be left outpaced. A few days ago, Sony Films unleashed a blurring, fast-paced, and downright spectacular trailer for “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”.

The trailer shows significant plot points from the movie, including OsCorp’s involvement on all the menace the web slinger had and will encounter, as well as the dark secret regarding Peter’s past, specifically the disappearance of his parents.

Also, it reveals the movie’s three villains, Harry Osborn, which is the Green Goblin, Spencer Smythe in the Rhino’s mechanical suit, and Max Dillon’s Electro; all of which derived their character from the Ultimates’ version of Spider-Man.

Also, the trailer reveals a few Easter eggs, including Doctor Octopus and Vultue’s wings stored in a vault (presumably in Oscorp’s), as well as folders named “Ravencroft” (sort of like the Arkham Asylum in Batman’s world), “Dr. Morbius” (referring to Spider-Man vampire villain), and “Venom” (yes, that Venom) when Harry showed various files to Peter on the computer.

Nothing is certain yet about these Easter eggs whether they were just inserted there for homages or they will define the franchise’s future movies.
