Faxo provides a revolutionary new way to change your style on the fly with the standard controls at the top right of your page.

B WTileBar F|M|L Reset

  • B/W - Change text to White on Black or Black on White
  • [Slider] Change opacity of image background. (Increase/Decrease contrast)
  • Tile - Tile or stretch your background image
  • Bar - Toggle Toolbar (To see your full background)
  • Bg - Toggle between the following 3 background images:
    • F - Faxo's default background image(s)
    • M - My background image. This is set via the the customize box below
    • L - Linked in background image. An embedded link of a customized version of Faxo
  • Reset - Restore your style back to the Faxo default state. This includes the placement of the widgets on the homepage.

Styles can be found anywhere on the Internet including Faxo. All you need is the url to the image. This can be automatically set when you click on an image in Faxo Images or the style icon (it looks like a color palette) next to any image in image search results or thumbnails in Faxo Images.

Below are example searches for images. Large images work best for your style if you are not tiling. Next to each thumbnail is a style icon that you can click on to set your style: (note if you click the image thumbnail you will display the image itself and not set your Faxo style. You must click on the style/palette icon to set your style)

Finally you can manually enter a link below. Note Faxo is not responsible for images located on 3rd party sites.

We encourage users to create and share their customized versions of Faxo on their own websites. Examples of this embedding are shown below. When a user arrives at Faxo via an embedded link the realtime controls will be set to "L" because they are viewing the Linked in style. From this they can always revert to the defaults by clicking the "F".
