She’s been busy scouting locations for awhile now, and Angelina Jolie has decided to film her new movie “Unbroken” in the land down under.
According to Universal Pictures, the forthcoming flick will begin filming this fall with Jolie manning the director’s chair, and Australia seems to have everything Ang was looking for with regard to setting.
“Unbroken” will tell the true story of Lou Zamperini, an Olympic track star-turned World War II hero who floated in the Pacific Ocean for 47 days after crashing his plane in 1943.
Based on the Laura Hillenbrand book "Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption," the screenplay has been written by Joel and Ethan Cohen, and Jack O’Connell has been cast as Lou Zamperini.
