As you grow in life you realize most of the people live their entire lives by picking sides. No matter what it is, politics or sports, the ego loves to choose sides. It's crazy how people stop being neutral because they are immensely identified with a certain group.
There's no individual thought left when your consciousness is hijacked by a groupthink.
