The cover and the synopsis made me want to buy this book instantly.

It was so mysterious, eerie - even bordering on creepiness that I instantly loved it.

The idea wasn't original but it was still better than most lovesick books that's trending (can't believe it) right now.

But after the whole thing was explained, I felt that the book ended too soon. Sure another book is coming out but the cliffhanger didn't keep me on edge. That was a major disappointment.

Also the love story. I'm not a cynic but really? Date your grandfather's old girlfriend? That's just weird. Almost as weird as the Jacob-Renesmee thing.

But I did love the way the author used creepy pictures to illustrate his point. It was a very nice touch that made the readers understand what Jacob saw.

I wasn't too happy about it, but I'll leave some benefit of a doubt for the next book. Until then! :)
