Today, though, I saw a different player. Someone who came in thinking: ‘I have to make this right.’ That mentality is what changed everything for us.
After the game, I even heard Michael Carrick praising him in the dressing room, talking about that old Manchester United mentality under Alex Ferguson — when the team would respond like wounded animals after setbacks.
