On saving Justin in front of thousands of fans:
"Last year, I was onstage with Justin during his set when he tripped. I don't know if I saved him or he saved me, because it happened so fast and we just carried on with the show. It actually really wasn't his fault because the stage wasn't in the position it's normally supposed to be in. I saw it at the last minute and he didn't. All you can do is laugh, really!"
On the worst moment during a concert:
"One time onstage in Mexico City I forgot the words because the crowd was so huge - there were 300,000 people there and it was the first time I'd ever seen a crowd of that size! The amazing part was as soon as I stopped singing, the audience all started and they knew all the words to my song. It was just one of those really moving moments."
On making time for social media websites:
"I check Twitter quiet regularly, about three times a day. Since 'Call Me Maybe' took off virally, I've really seen the importance of connecting with fans on YouTube and Facebook and all thsoe avenues. It's really helped, especially with things like deciding on my next single, because I'll get loads of feedback on certain songs."
