It seems that not everyone likes Carrie Underwood for the role of Maria von Trapp. She is going to be the protagonist for the hit 1965 musical film The Sound of Music. Maria was originally portrayed by veteran actress, Julie Andrews. While no one questions Carrie's vocal abilities, there's the other matter about her acting skills.
Myles von Trapp Derbyshire, the great grandson of the real Maria von Trapp - whose life was the basis for this musical film - voiced his opinion about who they think should portray their great grandmother.
"[Our family has] had the conversations of who could play this role better and it was Anne Hathaway, for example," he said. "Here's someone who just won an Oscar for a similar situation [in Les Miserables]. She was able to act and sing."
What do you guys think? Although, the comment weren't all negative. In fact, the live event broke station records when it aired worldwide.
