Austin Sculpture Rocking Horse Art Vintage Horse
Large Austin Sculpture. Rocking Horse. Weighs 18 pounds! Dimensions are 17 inches height x 26 inches length x 5.5 inches width. comes with small pamphlet (pictured) in plastic casing on bottom about the sculpture. says "The rocking horse in the Austin collection dates from 1902. It was found in Massachusetts, artist unknown. It was believed that this piece served as the model for a larger rocking horse which would acomodate a small child."
There are a few cracks in the base of the rocking horse due to dryness over the years. Still minor. This a magnificent piece that I have owned for many many years. Originally purchased in estate sale.
