For sale is a reissue Hofner Galaxie Guitar. Though they still produce the basses, it seems as though Hofner only issued the guitars for a couple years, and stopped last year. I haven't been able to find one for sale, even on ebay, for quite awhile.
I had a graphtech nut put on, it stays in tune and intonates very well. Though the trem system looks like a jag/jazz trem it's actually more similar to the trems that came on 60's department store guitars - which is to say it's actually pretty effective and doesn't lose tune - it's more for light vibrato though.
Anyway, this guitar is in great shape, only a couple minor scratches on the back from general playing. It has 3 really great sounding mini humbuckers, that are interestingly controlled by on/off switches. There is one humbucker cover missing -- allparts sells replacements for around 30 bucks. I just never got around to replacing it. Really like this guitar, it's like a pawnshop strat with a really unique playability and sound. Just thinning the herd here.
Asking $350. Maybe trade for another vibrato equipped guitar or semi hollow. Squier jag/jazz plus cash etc.
No case, cash only, pickup only
