Anyone familiar with the Nord knows its capabilities. It offers high-quality grand and electric piano sounds, warm to biting organ tones, and a very flexible synth section that allows for easy layering and splitting—a total of six sound sections that can be quickly adjusted. Factory settings have been reset, so you can simply set it up, plug it in, and start playing immediately. The board can be connected to the Nord Library via USB to access a vast number of additional sounds, though I personally have hardly used this feature.
