This is Clockwork, my fifth major K'nex ball machine, and my largest and most complex K'nex structure to date. It took 8 months to build, has over 40,000 pieces, over 450 feet of track, 21 different paths, 8 motors, 5 lifts, and a one-of-a-kind computer-controlled crane, as well as two computer-controlled illuminated K'nex balls. As requested, here is a raw video of the machine with the original sound: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pk8dr5IUMFsAlso , a video of the machine running at night with the LED balls: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gY9BSh8aVQMEDIT:Since people have been asking about the music, it is an original composition I wrote specifically for this machine and this video. You can find it here: http://soundcloud.com/austron/clockworkInteractive 3D panorama of the machine: http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=85ae3e43-741c-4fa8-b5ac-18f95e078b0aLong exposure of the machine running at night: http://i.imgur.com/76ZGv.jpgFor more videos of specific details of the machine, as well as construction history, visit my channel! If you have any questions, send me a private message or email me at AustronKnex@gmail.com
