There's a lot to expect at the Comic Convention in San Diego but it had to about gay issues with Harrison Ford being scrutinized by the media about it. Ford at 71 steered clear of the subject as best as he can although he was a formidable supporter of gay rights in the past. The reason behind the controversy was because of the author of his latest sci-fi movie "Ender's Game," Orson Scott Card who made some negative comments about gay marriage.

However, Ford said that the movie itself does not have anything to do with gay marriage or any gay issues whatsoever. Putting all these aside I must say, as a comic book geek myself, that the San Diego Comic Conference was absolutely splendid with all the stunning booths from various comic books and sci-fi films. For once I hope that the people will focus on what's happening at Comic-Con instead of all this gay issues.
