Good Friday - "The Crucifixion" (C)

Luke 23:34 – “Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.”

Comment:
Even while dying, Jesus prayed for His killers’ forgiveness. Perfect love. The vipers showed no mercy.

Today, forgive those who have hurt you. Release every offender as Jesus did.
The cross empowers forgiveness.

Easter joy flows from a forgiving heart. Let the risen Christ heal you through forgiveness.

Lord Jesus, fill me with Your forgiving love.

Father, help me forgive others as You forgave me.
