She's known for her huge costume parties on Halloween, but Heidi Klum just couldn't wait to play with her wardrobe for her birthday lunch at the Bel-Air Hotel on Saturday (June 1).

Holding the hand of her beau Martin Kristen, the "Project Runway" host wore a white top, sparkly black jacket, and a three-tiered top hat as she headed inside to celebrate the big 4-0.

Though her beefy boyfriend didn't get in on the action, the birthday girl's gal pals did, as she shared a photo of the group in their headgear with the caption, "Thank you Nancy for throwing me my 40th birthday party. Love you girls."

Later, Ms. Klum posted a selfie at the party smiling at the camera with the comment, "Fun day. Thank you."
