I grew up watching African Magic almost every day with my dad. I didn’t understand everything in those movies back then, but whenever I saw true love, it made me smile and wish I was the one experiencing it.
Even as a young boy, I think I was always searching for something genuine. Whenever one girl rejected me or broke my heart, I’d dust myself off and try again when I met someone I genuinely liked.
But along the way, I got hurt more times than I can count. People saw me around different girls and quickly called me a womanizer, without knowing the stories behind those friendships or relationships.
I’ve always had female friends, and I never believed there was anything wrong with that when the intentions are genuine. I cared deeply about the people I met and treated the women in my life with love and respect. Unfortunately, not every experience turned out the way I hoped.
For a long time, people judged me based on what they could see, never knowing what I had been through.
But I’m healed now.
God saw my heart. He knew my intentions, and He fought battles I couldn’t fight for myself.
I’m no longer looking back.
Time to walk into greatness. 🐦⬛🎚️
