Jordin Sparks kicking off the weekend a bit early, she showed up at a very special Dress for Success party in New York City last night.

The "American Idol" alum joined Robin Meade for the swanky Dress for Success Honors Mothers of Jordin Sparks and Robin Meade at the Grand Hyatt, posing for the paparazzi with Sharon Meade, Joi Gordon, and Jodi Sparks.

And it sounds like Jordin and her mom had a fabulous time at the affair- Sparks tweeted, “Thank you @dressforsuccess for honoring @jodisparks & allowing me, @Pamsalamb & @DoubleVeeNYC to be apart of it! So inspired! Love you mama!”

Also in the house were gorgeous gals like Miss Universe Olivia Culpa and Miss Teen USA Logan West.
