Julianne Hough laughs with paparazzi as she arrives at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Thursday evening (February 28).

The 24-year-old actress caught up with Marie Claire UK while in Europe promoting her new film, Safe Haven.

“Audiences will get the same elements they get from The Notebook – that love, that romance but now there’s a suspense and thriller aspect,” she shared. “Safe Haven is all about second chances and finding a place where you can be yourself and be happy.”

Julianne added about her faves from Nicholas Sparks, “I was always a huge fan of Nicholas Sparks growing up, ‘A Walk To Remember’ was the first book I read as a teenager I loved the movie so much.”
