Katie Holmes showed up on the set of “Mania Days” in New York City this afternoon.

Joined by costar Luke Kirby, the “Disturbing Behavior” starlet held hands and lit a candle in front of a church while the cameras rolled.

Slated to hit theaters in 2014, “Mania Days” is directed by Spike Lee and will be filming for the next few weeks in various locations around Manhattan.

Per the synopsis, “Two manic depressives meet in a psychiatric hospital and begin a romance that brings out all of the beauty and horror of their condition.”
