Treating herself to a beauty day, Kristin Cavallari showed up at the Chris McMillian Salon in Los Angeles this morning (4/3/2013).

And it seems that she had a great time, as the “Hills” babe donned a big smile as she made her exit and headed for her car.

Given her celebrity status, Kristin would hardly be blamed for splashing out big bucks on baby clothes for her son Camden, but it turns out she’s much more frugal than many of her peers.

Cavallari confessed, “I’m all about Carters, and we’ve bought so many outfits at Target. At first I was all into the outfits – and some days I am – but other days he’s just in pajamas. They grow out of [outfits] so quickly, so there’s no point in spending so much money.”

Furthermore, Kristin also makes use of a blender and organic veggies and fruits to craft her own version of baby food for her little guy.
