This week, Deadline.com reported that Kristin Chenoweth signed on to star in an untitled CBS comedy pilot.

Directed by James Burrows, the show centers on Jack, played by Matthew Broderick, a recently widowed father who is raising his 12-year-old son and jumping back into the dating pool. Meanwhile, Ms. Chenoweth will play Marnie, Jack's judgmental sister who works as a waitress.
