Matthew McConaughey teamed up with football star Drew Brees for the Amazing Race charity event on Friday in New Orleans.

The “Dallas Buyers Club” hunk took kept casual in black sweats and a grey tee as he and the pro athlete greeted fans from their French Quarter hotel balcony.

Benefitting both McConaughey’s Just Keep Livin’ Foundation and the Brees Foundation, the event proceeds go towards providing care, education, and more for underprivileged children and families in Louisiana and the Gulf Coast.

According to JKL’s website, “The just keep livin Foundation is dedicated to empowering high school students to lead active lives and make healthy choices to become great men and women.”
