First class first lady indeed! Michelle Obama did not disappoint when she stepped out wearing this wonderful blue gown by Venezuelan-American designer Carolina Herrera during a state dinner with her husband, President Barack Obama, at the White House in Washington, D.C.

The gown featured a low-cut black lace top with three-quarter sleeves, a silk faille inverted pleat skirt in a liberty blue color and black velvet belt. Way to go Mrs. Obama!
