Mindy Kaling showed up at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood last night.

The “Mindy Project” starlet donned a ravishing red L’Ecole sweater teamed with black shorts and black ankle boots as she made her exit and smiled for the paparazzi.

Kaling recently raised eyebrows with her claim that kissing strangers should be allowed for married folks.

In a New Yorker op-ed piece, she explained, “The problem is, kissing is no longer appreciated as a satisfying end in itself, as an inviting pair of lips and, possibly, a tongue, to interact with for a delightful moment. No. Kissing has now been cheapened into the nominal gateway gesture to sex. Kissing is to sexual intercourse as the phrase ‘Can I talk to you for a second?’ is to a full-blown screaming fight.”
