Nicole Kidman and Steven Spielberg showed up at the Jury Press Conference at the 66th Cannes Film Festival today (May 15).

The legendary director will actually serve as the President of the Jury this time around, and he seemed to be in good spirits as he fielded questions from members of the international press.

He noted, “My admiration for the steadfast mission of the festival to champion the international language of movies is second to none. The most prestigious of its kind, the festival has always established the motion picture as a cross-cultural and generational medium.”

Meanwhile, Ms. Kidman was the picture of perfection in her figure-flattering black dress and casually side-swept crimson coif.
