Apparently, Prince George has gotten too many gifts during his third birthday, says his dad Prince William.

The future king to the British throne celebrated his birthday on July 22 and the Kensington Palace has released photos of the young prince looking all grown up and very much brimming with joy. It's obvious that the Duke and Duchess has managed to raise Prince George in a relatively normal upbringing as much as they could because only a few authorized pictures have been circulating since the birth of the prince.

The series of photographs show him with the family dog Lupo and enjoying time on a swing. The adorable pictures were taken by Matt Porteous at the family's home in Norfolk, England during mid-July.

The Kensington palace released this statement along with the photos:

"The Duke and Duchess hope that people will enjoy seeing these new photographs. They would like to thank everyone for all the lovely messages they have received as Prince George celebrates his third birthday."

As for photographer Matt: "I really enjoyed the opportunity to take these photographs of Prince George. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere."

Prince William, on the other hand, thinks his son got too much. During a visit at Britain's America's Cup ships, he declined to say how many gifts George got but commented: "I am not telling, he got too many things, he's far too spoiled."
