Description

An easy cake to make because it starts with a box cake. Frost with your favorite white frosting for background and top with blueberries for stars and strawberries or raspberries for the stripes.

Ingredients

• 1 box cake mix, your choice of flavor
• Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
• 1 container vanilla frosting
• 1/3 cu. fresh blueberries, washed
• 1 pint (2 cups) fresh strawberries, washed, stems removed, strawberries cut in half or raspberries

Steps

1. Heat oven to 350°F or 325°F for dark or nonstick pan.
2. Bake cake mix as directed on box for 13x9-inch pan. Cool 10 minutes.
3. Run knife around sides of pan to loosen cake; remove from pan to cooling rack, or keep cake in pan. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
