These hashbrowns tastes amazingly like the restaurant dish, but now you can make it without the hassle of leaving your home! You may want to double the recipe. It will go fast.
Ingredients
- 2 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1/4 c. margarine or butter, melted
- 1- 10 1/4 oz. can cream of chicken or cheddar cheese soup
- 1/2 pint sour cream
- 1/2 c. onion, peeled and chopped
- 2 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 t. salt
- 1/4 t. pepper
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 11 x 14 inch baking dish or use cooking spray.
- Saute onion in butter. Mix all ingredients, place in baking dish, bake for 25 minutes, stir and bake another 20 minutes or until top is brown.
