Description

You can enjoy these minty chocolate chip cookies anytime, but they are especially good during holiday times like Christmas, St. Patrick's Day or Easter.

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 c. flour
• 1 t. baking soda
• 1/2 t. salt
• 1 c. butter, softened
• 1 1/4 c. sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 - 1 1/2 t. green food color
• 1 t. peppermint extract
• 1 1/2 c. semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Mix flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Set aside.
3. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with an electric mixer on medium until light and fluffy; add eggs, food coloring and peppermint extract; mix well. Gradually beat in flour mixture on low until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips.
