In the deadly waters of South Africa, a seal managed to evade being a great white shark's next meal. This spectacular moment was captured by photographer David Jenkins of Dublin, Ireland.

Here we can see the seal balancing on top of the shark's nose. The shark was obviously caught by surprise and wondered why there was no delicious (euk!) seal inside its mouth. Meanwhile, the seal jumped to the opposite direction and safely escaped. Smart chap!
