For this piece of art, you might want to get a really good magnifying glass because this is not visible to the naked eye. British artist Jonty Hurwitz has created what's possibly the smallest sculptures in the world with his “Nano” sculptures. Each sculpture is about 100 microns high or only roughly the thickness of a strand of hair and was created through a 3D printing technique called multiphoton lithography, a process that blasts microscopic pixels out of UV-sensitive polymer using a tightly focused UV light.
Art and Science mixed into one glorious project!
