Trading in her comedic timing for something a bit more serious, Sofia Vergara filmed on the set of "Heat" in New Orleans with co-star Jason Statham on Tuesday.

The "Modern Family" star flaunted her curves in a form-fitting light blue sweater, short white skirt, and matching heels as she changed into some more comfortable pink slippers.

Introducing her Twitter followers to her character, Sofia Vergara posted a selfie with the caption, "Shooting "Heat" in New Orleans today. This is DD."

This past weekend, Sofia traveled back to Colombia to celebrate the bicentennial of Barranquilla, her hometown, where she was honored for her international recognition.
