Sam Bern has a rare condition that accelerates his aging process. He was only 17 when he died last Friday due to complications of his rare condition Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome or more commonly known as progeria. This gives him physical qualities of an aging person despite his age (think Benjamin Buttons but without the reverse quality). Hundreds of people went to his funeral - including well-known individuals in the world who was inspired by his life struggle.
