The Arch of Septimius Severus (Italian: Arco di Settimio Severo) stands at the northwestern end of the Roman Forum. This white marble triumphal arch was dedicated in the year 203 AD to commemorate the Parthian victories of Emperor Septimius Severus, who was born in Leptis Magna, in present-day Libya, along with his sons Caracalla and Geta. The arch celebrates their military campaigns against the Parthians in 194/195 AD.🇱🇾
