Wizards and muggles (nomajs) alike better be ready because the latest trailer of "Fantasic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is already out! Lead star Eddie Redmayne, who plays the eccentric magizoologist Newt Scamander in the film, introduced the trailer during the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night. Redmayne in turn, was introduced in an elaborate dance that involved him stepping out of a briefcase from the floor.
On to the trailer. The 2-minute clip showed us to the world of wizards in New York city in the 1920s. Even back then, they were already in hiding and in chaos about the possibility of being exposed by a group of anti-wizards. Here comes Newt Scamander, a nearly-expelled student with a penchant for dangerous beasts. Fortunately, he has the support of no-other than Dumbledore himself and is now travelling to New York city. The teaser showed us that he was a Hufflepuff (based on the scarf in his briefcase - transformed so that the muggles won't notice the creatures and habitats inside it).
Everything goes wrong however, when for some reason, the creatures escape. Now Newt must track them down before they threaten to destroy the secrecy of the entire Wizarding community. The best part is when Newt suddenly gets up from his bed, opens his briefcase and descends into what we all assume is the place where all the magical creatures and their habitats are.
