After the incredible success of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire", Lionsgate is already filming the first part of the Mockingjay movie. The movie is set to have two parts, to be released a year apart from each other.
This two part sequels started with Harry Potter and then Twilight. While Harry Potter and Twilight were both understandable (the books were 700+ pages long), Mockingjay has less than 400 pages in total. We all know what this is about though - gaining more profit. However, prolonging the plot might be a good thing because the Mockingjay book had plenty of loose ends to tie up and the movie might just be able to satisfy us.
